• Nie Znaleziono Wyników

Temat niniejszej pracy nie byłby przeze mnie nigdy zrealizowany, gdyby nie in-spiracja i motywacja prof. dr. hab. Jana Rafi ńskiego, który najpierw zachęcił mnie do badań biologii rozrodu traszek, a następnie wspomógł we wstępnych badaniach tego niezwykłego sposobu rozrodu wśród ryb kostnoszkieletowych – czyli insemian-cji połączonej z jajorodnością u Mimagoniates barberi. Kontynuacja tych badań w szerszym zakresie stała się możliwa dzięki współpracy z profesorami J.R. Burn-sem z George Washington Uniwersity (Washington, DC, USA ) i S.H. Weitzmanem z Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of Natural History (Washington, DC, USA), którzy przesłali mi do badań cały materiał, jakim dysponowali, obdarzając mnie zaufaniem w realizacji tego przedsięwzięcia, za co niezwykle serdecznie im dziękuję.
