Streszczenie
W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań struktury i własności powłok z węglika chromu Cr3C2 wytworzonych metodami natrysku termicznego (natrysk płomieniowy
naddźwiękowy z dużymi prędkościami HVOF i natrysk plazmowy) oraz metodami PVD (odparowanie łukiem elektrycznym Arc PVD oraz odparowanie wiązką elektronów EB PVD). Oprócz badań struktury i własności przeprowadzono ocenę porowatości powłok, analizę składu chemicznego i fazowego, a ponadto statystyczną ocenę wielkości ziarna.

Summary
This paper presents results of research on carbide chromium coating obtained by thermal sprayed (high velocity oxy fuel HVOF, plasma spraying) and Physical Vapor Deposition (electron beam physical vapor deposition EB PVD, cathodic arc deposition Arc PVD). In addition to the microstructure and properties were evaluated porosity, phase and chemical consistence, and statistical evaluation of the particle grain.
It was found that the coatings technologies and process parameters significantly affect the microstructure and properties of coatings. The lowest porosity and smallest grains have a coating obtained by thermal spraying methods (HVOF). It was found that the high velocity oxy fuel (HVOF) sprayed show more uniform and fine grained microstructure than plasma sprayed, in a positive effect on their operation. PVD coating, are more compact, without porosity and has a very fine grain, than thermal
sprayed coating. Observation of the microstructure using optical and scanning
microscopy, shows differences in microstructure, but the TEM investigations shows, that this differences are disappearing.
Difference in the thermal sprayed coatings deposited by PVD methods of observation at the nanometer (TEM) are disappearing and observed coatings have similar construction, mainly composed of atoms or nanometer “clusters” or granules, which geometric arrangement depends on the method of deposition.
