The forementioned periodical is a Poland-wide semi-annual. It has been published since 2008 with an edition of 300 copies and is available on the webside of the Main Medical Library of Medical University of Łódz (http:// www.bg.umed.lodz.pl) ISSN 1899-5829.
Ryszard Ż m u d a , PhD is the Editor-in-Chief and the Chairman of the Programme Council is Prof. Jacek B a r t k o w i a k , MD, PhD.
