Among them are secret instructions, letters, circulars, fragments of speeches or presentations. The individual acts were directed mainly to the Heads of Provin-cial Offices of Public Security. It is the first catalogue of manuscripts kept at the Archive of the Collegiate and Cathedral Chap-ter in Sandomierz, a separate section of the Diocesan Archive, which in turn constitutes a part of the Diocesan Library in Sandomierz. It comprises 950 units dating from 13th_-20th _centuries. It is organised according to subject areas: 1. Mediaeval parchment and paper manuscript co-dices; 2. Records of the Collegiate Chapter from 16th_-18th _{century; 3. Records of the Cathedral} Chapter from 17th_-20th _{century; 4. Other. The descriptions are composed of: 1. number; 2. date;} 3. title; 4. regest (short description); 5. information on previous forms of availability. The catalo-gue is supplemented by indices: of persons, geographical names, and a subject index.
