It is our desire — before a detailed appreciation of PIERRE JOUGUET'S far reaching scientific activities
appears in our organ — to give expression of our deep regret caused by the decease of a man to whom me mere attached by most cordial and unforgettable relations. His prominent individuality combined the charm of sincere modesty mith brilliant geniality. All of us mho mere fortunate enough to knorv him nearer mill remember him during our lifetime and praise the propitious fate mhicli granted us the rare privilege to enjoy his friendship.
