System ekspertowy jako narzędzie do usuwania błędów w dużych
informatycznych systemach bankowych
The main aim of dissertation was proving the thesis, that using of modem methods of artificial intelligence such as expert systems and neural networks as well as experts' practical knowledge, we can create mechanisms and systems helping remove the errors by non-experts, in the large, computer, bank systems. Two groups of errors observed in one of such systems were selected and investigated: errors from system routines and errors of integrity of accounts and customers' card indices. Groups of other potential errors were also pointed out.. The definitions of errors with methods of their elimination, quantitative structures of groups of errors on the most characteristic dates, as well as the time-quantitative structures are presented in the dissertation. The time-quantitative structure of each group of error shows the decreasing number of errors in time. It also enables one to predict the days of massive break downs of the system. This has been proven in the dissertation on the example of selected mechanisms of expert systems and artificial neural networks fit for removing these kind of errors. It was revealed that 75% of identified types of error and 97% of errors within a given span of time can be efficiently removed with the aid of the proposed expert system.
