INFORMATION FOR THE AUTHORS

Politeja is an academic journal brought out by the Faculty of International and Political Studies

of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. It publishes articles belonging to the field of broadly understood Political Sciences, International Relations and Cultural Studies. We invite academics as well as PhD students, both from academic centres in Poland and abroad, to sub-mit scholarly articles and book reviews that are original, not published before and not at the same time reviewed by any other editor. We accept articles written in Polish and in English. The final decision of the Editorial Board depends on the positive result of an anonymous reviewing process. The reviewers are selected by the Editorial Board from among the specialists of a given discipline.

Formal requirements:

1. Texts in Word format are to be sent to the email address: politeja@uj.edu.pl.

2. Articles should not be shorter than 40 000 characters with spaces (including footnotes) and they should not exceed 10 000 words (including bibliography and footnotes). 3. Articles should include footnotes and the bibliography of all referenced sources. 4. On the first page of the article the following data should be given:

name of the author affiliation

e-mail address and ORCID ID contact address for letters

number of characters (with spaces and footnotes).

5. An article should include an abstract (max 14 lines) headed with the transalted title of the article. It should also include academic biography.

6. Academic biography should always be attached to submitted book reviews. 7. Articles require 3–5 keywords.

8. Footnotes should comply with the Politeja editing system available on Politeja website

(it does not apply to artilces written in English).

9. Authors receive editor’s proof for viewing and proofreading. They accept texts for print. The author’s proof must be returned to the publisher within two weeks.

10. Księgarnia Akademicka publishing house brings out Politeja. Authors sign a publishing
