W pracy zaproponowano model takiego systemu. Postawiono dwie tezy:
1. Zastosowanie podejścia spersonalizowanego zapewnia skuteczny dostęp do żądanej informacji spełniającej oczekiwania konkretnego użytkownika w złożonych wielojęzycznych systemach e-learningowych.
The increase of the amount of resources used by e-learning systems requires a development of an efficient search system that guarantees end-users to find resources, which meet their expectations in the best possible way. A model of such a system was proposed in the dissertation. The author concentrates on following thesis:
1. The use of a personalized approach provides an efficient access to the desired information, meeting the expectations of users in a complex multilingual e-learning system.
2. The use of multi-agent systems provides easier management of a complex multilingual search system.
In the first case, the standardized description of LOM was used and the complementary description of end-users was introduced.
Then, various ways to analyze data describing both the user and the objects of knowledge were proposed, moreover the user behaviour was registered and analysed as well. The aim of this analysis was to create well-recommended list of search results and deliver it to a given end-user.
This type of approach has not been offered yet in the well-known e-learning systems, and thus it seems to have an innovative character.
The second case is a proposal to introduce a multiagent system for an efficient allocation of tasks. Multiagent Systems have not been applied in practice in e-learning systems.
The dissertation offers an innovative solution that ensures easy extension of the system, not only offering the possibility of the distribution of the components, but also facilitating an increase of its functionality.
