Marek Mariusz Tytko
(M .A ., P h .D .) is a doctor o f hum anistic scien ces in peda g o g y (2007). H is doctoral dissertation w as, “Stefana Szum ana koncepcja w y ch o w ania przez sztukę” [“Stephan Szum an’s concept o f educating through art”]. H e is a graduate o f Jagiellonian U niversity in three faculties: 1) history, 2 ) philology, and 3) philosophy. H e is a historian o f art, a pedagogue and a scien tific inform ation spe cialist. Sin ce 1991, he has b een em ployed at Jagiellonian U niversity. From 1997 to 1998, he w as a scholar and teacher in the Institute o f P olish P h ilology at the H igher S chool o f P ed agogy in Cracow. H e has m ultidisciplinary field s o f research in peda gogy, philosophy, literary studies, the history o f culture, th e history o f art, the history o f literature, scien ce inform ation and library studies. H e has rich private experience in w riting poetry and the practical anim ation o f literary, artistic, and religious cul ture. H e is R om an C atholic and open for patriotic, Christian, fam ilial, and national valu es o f European cultures.e-m ail contact:
