Prediction of global warming
(Physics World, 2012)
Natural factors, obviously, influence the climate on Earth.
But humans, say physicists, bring recently a significant „share” in global warming.
we burn coal (in „industrial” manner) from 1850 (what is well visible from the CO
2content in
atmosphere)
K. Służewski, G. Karwasz, „Warm, warm, even colder”, Foton 122, Jesień 2013
How much coal and petrol have we already burnt?
1 2 3 4
↑ 5%
½
Total resources
(according „Nature” 2002):
the rest we have already eaten
Coal: resource for 102 years
Gas: resources for 55 years
Petrol: resources for 32 yrs
It is passing now 20 years…

Resources of gas, at present level
of consumption, are sufficient for 102 yrs (but only for Russia)
Gas in Russia

But if China arrives to the same consumption as Russia…
then the Russian gas will last only 10 years (!)
Coal is used by China, India, Kazakhstan (and
Poland)
Poland consumes more coal than China
France? Nuclear energy
And Poland?

In 2040 the shortage
of power will amount
to 50% (!)
