Editor’s Preface
The current issue of the Journal is related to changes in the idea of the univer-sity. However, readers will also fi nd some articles presenting special views on reality. The fi rst part of the Journal is connected with specifi c political changes within Europe. The second part is related more to the psychological dimensions of changes in beliefs, personality, values and even in education. The third part of the issue is devoted to university education. Some of the texts are the result of Polish- Ukrainian scientifi c cooperation in the fi eld of educational experiments with edu-cation for elderly people, and other results should be mentioned such as: conferen-ces, study visits, workshops and a project. A small part of the research was done in the wider international community by the Polish- French- Spanish- Turkish team (see the texts of Jacek Gulanowski, Agata Kozak and Luba Jakubowska).
