SUMMARY
During the field works conducted by the present
authors in the years 1967- 1968 numerous sedimentary structures have been found to OCCur in various stra-tigraphical members of the Zechstein formation. In the literature on this region, these structures are, as a rule, described fragmentarily and superficially. The authors emphasize, a considerable importance of
most of these structures in explanation of the origin of the Zechstein deposits, the more so as some complete groups of these structures have been e n-countered within a given bed or rock series.
