In Journal of Jur. Pap. I p. 109—110 we reviewed Nos. 150—154 of the collection of the papyrus grecs de la bibliothèque nationale et universitaire de Strasbourg. The above mentioned Bulletins cont-ain a continuation of the publication of these papyri. № 155—168 published in P a u l С o 11 о m ρ e t s e s é l e v e s , Papyrus grecs Paris 1948 contain 14 receipts (119—144 A. D.) ύπέρ χωματικών concerning Petesuchos and his son Zoilos weavers in Bacchias. Nos. 169 - 178 are letters; № 175, 176 receipts. № 177 (326 A. D.) is a presentation of two candidates by two komarchs to this liturgy after their term has been elapsed (cf. W. Chr. 401 (265 A. D.). № 179 (170—180 Α. D.) is an account of a trial before the prefect, much mutilated. The verb προγραφή in (v. 1) is to be found in acts concerning έπίκρισις (cf. Hamb. 31 and p. 132); (v. 5) mentions the συμβούλιον of the prefect (cf. Lan· I 395). № 181 (166 A. D.) is a complaint to the strategos in a case of damage caused by cattle, but provoked by their owners (cf. Laiv I 349). № 182 (III cent. A. D.) is a land — απογραφή which refers to the inundation of the Nile with regard of its unfavorable effect of the productiven-ess of land (cf. Law II 39). № 183 (IV cent. A. D.) is a businproductiven-ess- business-letter in which ϊταλικόν (νόμισμα) is mentioned (cf. J o h n s o n , Currency in Roman and Byzantine Egypt p. 131 cf. Law II 884).
№ 184 (III cent. A. D.) is a sale of trees: ξύλα έρίκινα και έλάϊνα (cf. Law II 77). № 185 (55 A. D.) is a bid for lease by four Πέρσαι της έπιγονής (v. 7) αλλήλων έγγύων εις εκτ«πν (cf. Law I 231). № 186 (V—VI cent. A. D.) is a lease of land. № 187 (II cent. A. D.) in a business letter. № 188 (III cent. A. D.) is a letter to an άρχέφοδος (cf. Law I 415). № 189 (192 A. D.) is a receipt for λαογραφία tax (cf. W a l l a c e , Taxation in Egypt 121; my Law II 64, 6813). № 190 (592 A. D.) is a lease of a house (cf. Law I 274).
№ 191 (164 A. D.) is an acknowledgement by the sitologos and his assistants of the receipts of 53 artabae of wheat (cf. Tebt. 369). № 192 (207 A. D.) is a κατ' οΐκίαν απογραφή (cf. Law II 38), № 193 (128 A. D.) a letter; № 194 (VI cent. A. D.) a διάλυσις (cf. Law I 305 ff).
