Projects (100 points):

 Projects will be evaluated during the classes.

 Each project will be rated (0, 50%, 75% or 100%). The weights of individual projects are identical.

 For each project there will be a deadline established. Projects completed after the deadline will be rated lower by half.

 Project evaluation is based not only on its result (the files provided by the student), but most of all on in-depth knowledge of the solutions applied in it.

 Each absence reduces the result by 10 pts. This penalty can be cancelled provided that:

o The student will personally inform about the circumstances related to the absence, within three days of the absence at the latest

(by e-mail: plich@uni.lodz.pl or jborat@uni.lodz.pl).

o Within two weeks from absence (and provided that this does not exceed deadline for a particular project) the student will complete the omitted lab and present this work to the lecturer during office hours.

The lecturer can additionally grant a maximum of 10 points for outstanding work and activity.

At least 50 points are required to complete the course.
