Authors agreement concerning
transfer of copyright and intellectual property rights
Each of below signed Authors/Co-authors states that:
The work, hereafter referred to as “the paper”, titled:

has been created by the Author/Co-author himself/herself.
1. The Author/Co-author states that all unlimited copyright and intellectual property rights to the paper have been obtained by him/her.
a) The paper is original, written by the Author/Co-author and does not violate the copyrights and intellectual property rights of any third party,
b) The Author/Co-author possesses the only rights to the paper, c) The paper:
- has not been publisher before1,
- has been published without assignment of copyright and intellectual property rights1 in: (give details)

d) The assurance included in sub-clause b) also concerns drawings, tables and translations or modification of these translations enclosed by the Author/Co-author,
e) The assurance included in sub-clause c) also concerns part of the paper excluding self-citations with indication of the original source.
2. The Author/Co-author hereby assigns to the Editor (Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences) the copyright and intellectual property rights to the paper in order to use it in accordance with the Article 50 of the Copyright and Related Rights Act from 4 February 1994 (Polish Law).
3. By sending to the Editor his agreement and the electronic version of the paper, the Author/Co-author agrees that the paper will be published in the half-yearly journal Technika Poszukiwań Geologicznych, Geotermia, Zrównoważony Rozwój (Geological Exploration Technology, Geothermics, Sustanable Development) and accepts the following conditions:
a) The Editor reserves the right to withdraw the paper from the publication if:
The content of the paper does not fit the journal profile,
The paper does not receive two positive scientific reviews,
The paper is incomplete or contains low quality graphical material,
The paper has not been prepared according to the editorial guidelines.
b) If the Editor provides the Author/Co-author with the remarks of reviewers indicating how to obtain a positive review, and the Author/ Co-author corrects the text of the paper, the procedure for qualification of the paper for publication starts from the beginning.
c) The Editor has the right to make necessary editorial changes to any part of the paper. This right does not violate the Author’s/Co-author’s copyright and intellectual property rights.
d) The Author/Co-author is obliged to make prompt corrections to the paper qualified for publication. Failure to correct the paper within 14 days of receipt of the materials will be treated as consent to release the paper as transmitted for correction.
e) Author/Co-author will receive one copy of the journal issue with the published paper.

2 In case of multiple authors, it is permitted that the author designated for correspondence signs the document on behalf of all co-authors. In this case, the signed author shall be liable for any misconduct related to the content of the paper and the statements.
