Introduction

Japan, which applied a balanced model of cooperation between the state and „the invisible hand of the market”, is an example of a country where the free market is supported by state actions.

$FFRUGLQJWRUHSUHVHQWDWLYHVRIWKHRULHVUHIHUULQJWR$6PLWKH[HFXWLRQRI

ERWKWKHVHIXQFWLRQVE\WKHVWDWHFRQWULEXWHVWRJUHDWHUGHVWDELOLVDWLRQRIWKH

economy, which impairs effective use of available resources. The tinderbox LVZKDWWKHVXSSRUWHUVRIERWKGLUHFWLRQVUHJDUGDVHFRQRPLFDOO\DQGVRFLDOO\

UDWLRQDOGLVWULEXWLRQRILQFRPH =DOHZVNLS

SS² 7KHPRGHOPRVWIUHTXHQWO\SUHVHQWLQKLJKO\GHYHORSHGFRXQ- tries is the social market economy, where attribution of the top priority to free market does not eliminate, but still limits the welfare role of the state.
