TIM cz.1. Informatyka
Podczas wykładu studenci zostaną zapoznani ze stanem i uwarunkowaniami rozwoju IT w odniesieniu do mediów, formami zapisu informacji w komputerze (tekst, obraz, wideo i dźwięk). Omawiane są podstawowe narzędzia programowe i sprzętowe służące gromadzeniu, przetwarzaniu i transmisji cyfrowych informacji. Podkreślana jest istota programów własnych, systemowych, standardowych i zaawansowanych narzędzi IT. Wyróżniona jest problematyka różnej skali sieci komputerowych (LAN, MAN, WAN) oraz bezpieczeństwa teleinformatycznego. Sygnalizowane są także przyszłościowe zastosowania komputerów.
The lecture is devoted to the state and conditions of the IT development according to the media, digital formats of information (text, picture, video and voice). There are presented basic software’ and hardware’ tools which are used to collecting,
processing and transmitting digital information. The lecture shows importance of the new made software, operating systems, standard and advanced software. There are stressed the basic types of the networks (LAN, MAN, WAN) and the basic problems of the IT security. At the end of the lecture there will be shown some examples of the future applications of the information technology.
TIM cz. 2. Internet
Przedmiotem wykładu jest stan i uwarunkowania (infrastruktura, demografia)
Internetu (Sieci, WWW) w Polsce i na świecie. Wykład przedstawia istotę Internetu – jego historię, stan obecny i perspektywy, a w szczególności formy obecności Web 2.0 w wirtualnym świecie i ich powiązania ze światem realnym. Podkreślono uwarunkowania techniczne funkcjonowania Sieci (dostęp do Internetu), usługi w Sieci, narzędzia do wyszukiwania zasobów i usług oraz wybrane aspekty komercji (handel, giełdy, płatności) w Internecie. Istotną częścią wykładu jest prezentacja zasobów informacyjnych i usługowych Sieci oraz podstaw konstrukcji komercyjnych stron WWW. Szczególnie zaznaczone zostały formy obecności mediów w Internecie – prasy, radia i telewizji oraz przykładowych form social networkingu, dziennikarstwa obywatelskiego.
The aim of the course is to teach students about the conditions (infrastructure, demography) of the Internet (The Net, WWW) in Poland and around the World. The following issues shall be discussed in detail: the history of the Internet, current state and the future as well as the forms of the Web 2.0 and it’s relations with the real world. The technological conditions of the Internet functions shall be stressed (e.g.
access to the Internet), Internet’s services, search engine tools and some aspects of the business on the Net (trade, stocks, payments). The important part of the course shall be presentation of the information resources of the Net and services as well as the basic information according web site construction. This course in particular explains the forms, of the media present on the Net – newspapers, radio, TV and examples of social networking and citizen journalism.
