Applying for the job

Study this job interview:

- So how long have you been learning French?

- Oh, I have been learning it since high school, so that would be about 10 years now…

- You wrote in your resume that you have been attending a translator course…

- Yes, since March this year… I’ve been also preparing for the TOEFL exam for five months, so I am familiar with all those materials and language testes…

- I see. You graduated from Kent University, didn’t you?

- Yes, I did. In June last year.

- OK. Have you ever taught French?

- Yes, I have. I have been giving private French lessons for two years and I still have a few pupils.

- Oh I see, so it won’t be a new task for you…

- No, I have some experience in teaching.

- OK then. I think I know everything I wanted. I will discuss you candidature with my boss and we will call you back. Thank you for coming.

- Thank you. Good bye.
