A correction to «On inonotonity-preserving transformations' (Ann. UMCS, vol. VI (1952), pp. 91-111).

Prof. R. Sikorski has kindly called my attention to the fact that the lemma 5.2, p. 102 of the above mentioned paper is incorrectly stated. It should read:

4-00 -4-00

If the infinite integrals f b(x)U (x) dx and J b(x) dx = a both

o o

exist and U (x) is a monotonic function, then

-|*oo|- 4*oo

fb(x)U(x)dx = aU(O) + (RS)f f b(t)dt dü(i).

0 ’x

Proof. b(x) has — J b(t)dt as an indefinite integral.

Integrating by parts, we have

A I r I lx=X

I b(x) U (x)dx = ! U (x) —I b(t)dtl 4-

0 I x I U=0

?l|-+oo I + 00

+ (RS)J’ f b(t)dtldU(x) = — U(A)fb(t)dt+aU(O) + 0

A r4-°°

4-(RS)J J b(t)dt dü(i).

0 L.v

Making A—>co, we obtain, in view of corollary, our lemma.

This mistake does not vitiate the validity of the theorem 6.1.

The proof of this theorem can be obviously modified and the sufficiency of the conditions (6.11) and (6.12) can be easily proved by means of the so corrected lemma 5.2.

Then there exists a Riemannian metric on GR(F ) in which the foliation by fibres of the natural projection onto M is totally geodesic.. Taking into account Theorem 1 we have

Before we start the derivation of the fundamental pursuit equation in the electromagnetic and gravitational field, we remind the basic notions of the relativistic theory

There are two differences with respect to [1]: In [1], the Proposition does not appear in this generality, and here a different choice of Banach function spaces eliminates any

For any symmetric domain (in its bounded or unbounded) realization there exists a unique G-invariant Laplace–Beltrami operator ∆ which is defined in terms of the G- invariant

In the case of arbitrary ζ we use the same arguments based on the obvious relativization of Lemma 1.. General version of the Nadel’s theorem. We assume that the reader is familiar

The aim of the present paper is twofold: first, we give a complete proof of Jouanolou’s theorem together with a detailed discussion of all its steps; second, we show on examples

Ac- cording to the recent research it has been concluded that the social capital has some positive effects to decrease the asymmetric information; to gain trust, information
