3. Om de kwaliteit in de gezondheidszorg te vergroten dient de vergoeding van een behandeling niet uitsluitend gebaseerd te worden op de verrichting zelf, maar ook op het resultaat ervan.

2. The degree to which a guideline is followed correlates with the degree to which the motive of the guideline is understood.
3. To enhance the quality of healthcare the remuneration of a treatment should not only be based on the execution itself, but also on the result of the treatment.
4. There are many pathophysiological conditions that may lead to tissue hypoxia, but the cause of hyperoxemia is the healthcare itself. (Sola et al., J Perinatol. 2008)
5. Science begins with observation.
6. Not making use of SI-units leads to errors.

8. The word limit of articles that is imposed by scientific journals hampers in-depth discussion and leads to salami science.

10. To prevent RSI one can better buy an affectionate cat than an ergonomically shaped mouse.
