The cone arb o r is of hardened steel to prev en t w ear. A lock n u t behind

T he tran sm issio n and clutch of th e filer a re enclosed in the housing

shown. In stead of belts o r g ears a w orm drive is utilized. The built- in clutch and finger-tip control lever stop the file stro k e instantly, p re ­ venting in ju ries to th e o p erato r or dam age to saw s. A d ju stm en ts of th e file stro k e and feed paw l are readily m ade by a h a n d wheel.

ing-current s y s t e m s . Three-pole breakers with n eu trals are used fo r this type of service. The b reak ers are common trip ; th a t is, w hen an overload or short circuit occurs on any one pole, all poles trip sim ul­

taneously.

The breakers are trip free and cannot be held closed on a sh o rt circuit or overload. The indicating handle shows clearly w h eth er the breaker is on, of! o r tripped. The units are calibrated and sealed a t the factory so intended and pro p er capacity cannot be exceeded. Ca­

netically removes ferro u s particles from circulating oil system s in m a­

chines and engines. I t is placed near the machine or engine in the oil pipe line and becomes p a rt of the system.

It consists essentially of a set of magnetized screens enclosed in a casing through which th e liquid flows. The screens p resent th o u ­ sands of feet of strongly m agnetized edges to the m aterial passing through. These comb and recom b the product retaining the m agnetic particles on the screen edges until the end of the run. The filter is then demagnetized and flushed.

Features of the u nit include full flow of product, low pressu re drop, high capacity, and no m oving p arts.

It does not remove any of the oil additives. All p arts are given a high finish where needed to facili­

tate cleaning.
