Problematyka przydziału zadań jest jednym z kluczowych obszarów badań nad systemami wielorobotowymi. W ramach rozprawy zaprojektowano system agentowy, kierujący pracą grupy robotów mobilnych, funkcjonujących w warunkach ograniczonego zasięgu komunikacji między nimi.
Projekt systemu agentowego oparty został na koncepcji stworzenia, w oparciu o infrastrukturę informatyczną udostępnianą przez roboty mobilne, wirtualnej przestrzeni dla agentów. Forma przestrzeni wirtualnej stanowi odwzorowanie aktualnej konfiguracji układu komunikacji pomiędzy robotami w zespole. Połączenie pomiędzy światem rzeczywistym a przestrzenią wirtualną stanowią agenty powiązane na stałe z poszczególnymi robotami, natomiast wzrost efektywności mechanizmu przydzielania zadań osiągnięty zostanie dzięki działaniu w niej agentów wirtualnych. Do formalnego wyspecyfikowania wszystkich elementów systemu według tej koncepcji wykorzystano architekturę M-agenta.
Zrealizowany w oparciu o przedstawione idee system agentowy poddany został testom przeprowadzonym na symulacyjnym modelu grupy robotów wykonujących zadania na ograniczonym, zamkniętym obszarze. Uzyskane wyniki poddano analizie i dyskusji. Zaproponowane zostały również dwa wskaźniki pozwalające na łatwiejszą ocenę i interpretację uzyskanych wyników eksperymentów.
The Application of Multi-Agent Systems to Supporting (the) Management of Mobile Robots Groups (Teams).
The problem of the allocation of tasks is one of the main research areas on multi-robot systems. As a part of this dissertation, a multi-multi-robot system has been designed. This system manages the work of mobile robots' group functioning in the circumstances of the limited communication rangę.
The project of the Multi-Agent system was based on the idea of creation and the infrastructure of information technology provided by mobile robots for agents to virtual space. The shape of virtual space is a reproduction of the current configuration of the communication system among robots in a team. The connection between the real world and the virtual space is determined by agents linked to the particular robots. However, the increase in effectiveness of the task-allocation mechanism is going to be achieved thanks to the activity of the virtual agents. According to the idea, the M-agent architecture was used to formally specify all the system elements. The M-agent system, based on the ideas presented in this dissertation, was created and tested. The tests were carried out on a simulating model of a team of robots, which did the tasks in limited area. The results of these tests were analyzed and discussed. Two efficiency factors were also presented which helped evaluate and interpret the results of the experiments.
