Trajectory planning for new kind of redundant laparoscopic instruments for applications in surgical robots
Abstract:
In doctoral thesis has been proved that using the analytical methods and elements of graph theory it is possible to plan the trajectory explicitly for redundant multi-membered robotic surgical tool. The doctoral dissertation is of theoretical character. The model was developed based on Hartenberg-Denavit notation. Author also has developed a mathematical model of the patient body based on a series of two-dimensional images of CT, MRI (consecutive images of sections of the patient's body). The author introduced the concept of free space in which the tool could safely move the patient's body and indicated the manner of its designation. Later in the dissertation author by defining the concept of sets of solutions and graphs transits proved, using mathematical reasoning, truthfulness the thesis. The considerations are conducted in a discrete space of junction coordinates, which avoids several problems associated with the resolution of inverse kinematics problem of ambiguity in the solutions. Developed method of trajectory planning can clearly determine the trajectory of the robotic tool.
