Poniższa dysertacja stawia oraz dowodzi tezę główną, że bez konieczności wyznaczania elementów macierzy funkcji przenoszenia kanału radiowego, a wykorzystując jedynie proste operacje porównywania i odejmowania, można opracować skuteczny algorytm detekcji sygnałów w systemie MIMO(2,2), który redukuje złożoność obliczeniową procedur dekodowania symboli i ułatwia zastosowanie techniki wieloantenowej w bezprzewodowych sieciach sensorycznych. W celu wykazania tezy zaprojektowano oraz wykonano radiowy zespół nadawczo-odbiorczy MIMO(2,2) z zaimplementowanym uproszczonym algorytmem dekodowania. Przeprowadzono szereg eksperymentów, w trakcie których badano zależność bitowej stopy błędów od stosunku sygnał/szum na wejściu odbiornika na oraz wpływ uśredniania wartości referencyjnych sekwencji treningowej na jakość transmisji.
W pracy zawarto wprowadzenie do techniki wieloantenowej MIMO oraz bezprzewodowych sieci sensorycznych WSN. Przedstawiono opis konstrukcji zespołu nadawczo-odbiorczego oraz rezultaty uzyskane w badaniach eksperymentalnych.
The above dissertation proves the main thesis that without the need to determine the matrix elements of the radio channel transfer function, and using only a simple comparison and subtraction operations, an efficient decoding algorithm for MIMO(2,2) system can be elaborated, which reduces the computational complexity of symbol decoding and simplifies the use of MIMO technology in Wireless Sensor Networks. In order to prove the thesis an MIMO(2,2) transceiver was designed and implemented in hardware containing simplified decoding algorithm. A series of experiments were executed to study the dependence of Signal to Noise Ratio at the receiver input on Bit Error Rate and to verify the effect of averaging the reference values transmitted in the training sequence on BER improvement. The dissertation contains an introduction to the Multiple Input Multiple Output radio communication and to the Wireless Sensor Networks. Also the construction of the radio transceiver was presented as well as the results obtained in experimental studies.
