Modelowanie wydzielania węglikoazotków w stalach mikrostopowych o
podwyższonej wytrzymałości z zastosowaniem metody automatów
komórkowych
W stalach mikrostopowych wysokie własności mechaniczne zapewniają niewielkie dodatki (mikrododatki) takich pierwiastków jak Ti, Nb i V, wykazujących wysokie powinowactwo chemiczne do pierwiastków międzywęzłowych, C i N. Efektem reakcji zachodzących pomiędzy mikrododatkami i pierwiastkami międzywęzłowymi jest powstawanie trudno rozpuszczalnych związków, węglikoazotków. Wydzielenia te w podwyższonych temperaturach hamują rozrost ziarn austenitu, natomiast powstające w ferrycie wywołują efekt umocnienia wydzieleniowego. Mikrostruktura i własności mechaniczne tych stali zależą od parametrów stereologicznych wydzieleń, udziału objętościowego, Vv i średniego promienia, r. W części teoretycznej dokonano przeglądu dostępnych w literaturze naukowej modeli matematycznych, opisujących kinetykę procesu wydzielania węglikoazotków, umożliwiających obliczanie parametrów decydujących o własnościach mechanicznych tych stali. Żaden z modeli nie umożliwia obliczanie obrazu mikrostruktury zawierającej wydzielenia węglikoazotków, powstającej podczas obróbki cieplnej stali. W części praktycznej przedstawiono model matematyczny i program komputerowy MCN_CA, pozwalający obliczać obraz mikrostruktury zawierającej wydzielenia, uzyskiwanej podczas wytrzymywania izotermicznego przesyconej stali na podstawie znajomości składu chemicznego stali i warunków procesu. Do obliczania obrazu zastosowano metodę automatów komórkowych (CA).
Modeling of the kinetics of carbonitrides precipitation process in HSLA steels
using Cellular Automata method
Microalloyed steels are important group of structural steels, where high mechanical properties are achieved through small additions of elements such as Ti, Nb, V, introduced separately or comprehensively. High chemical affinity of these elements for interstitials (N, C) results in precipitation of binary compound, nitrides and carbides and products of their mutual solubility - carbonitrides. These compounds have a dual role. The carbonitrides undissolved at austenitisation temperature inhibit the growth of austenite grains, providing a fine grain of supercooled austenite transformation products. The second most important factor influencing the mechanical properties of microalloyed steel is the effect of strengthening of ferrite by dispersed carbonitrides precipitations formed during the transformation austenite-ferrite as a result of reaction between elements dissolved in austenite. The carbonitride parameters such as volume fraction, Vv, and the average radius of the precipitations, r, have influence
on the microstructure and mechanical properties. In the theoretical part the literature review about carbonitrides precipitation process was done. None of the models presented in the literature has any information about changing in the image of the microstructure of steels during carbonitrides precipitation process. In the practical part, the mathematical model and computer program (MCN_CA) to calculate and simulate the image of microstructure including precipitations was presented. The MCN_CA program contains the cellular automata (CA) model to calculate and simulate the image of this microstructure. CA model was verified with experimental data (average radius of the precipitations, r) from literature. The results was satisfying, so the conclusion that the MCN_CA can be used in the future is correct. The attempt to calculate the image of microstructure of steel under continuous cooling was done. The results from the MCN_CA program such as influence of chemical composition of steel to stereological parameters of precipitations and image of the microstructure with precipitations was presented. The CTP chart of carbonitrides was made. To calculate
