Rozdział 2 zawiera analizę uwarunkowań technologicznych posiadających istotny wpływ na możliwości powstawania wad. W rozdziale 3 przedstawiono autorską koncepcję reprezentacji wiedzy w formie tablicy atrybutowej. Zawartość merytoryczna, jak też sposoby wykorzystania tablicy, są wynikiem oryginalnych pomysłów autorki, podobnie jak procedury wnioskowania dotyczące identyfikacji nazwy (typu) wady. Wynikiem wnikliwego analizowania materiałów źródłowych oraz licznych dyskusji z ekspertami, są charakterystyki poszczególnych wad, wyrażone w postaci tablicowej. Podstawy logiki wiarygodnego rozumowania (oznaczanej skrótem LPR, od nazwy angielskiej: The Logic of Plausible Reasoning), wraz z koncepcją wykorzystania tego formalizmu do reprezentacji wiedzy o wadach, odniesioną do warunków niepewności tej wiedzy, przedstawiono w rozdziale 4. Jako alternatywę w stosunku do LPR w zakresie reprezentacji wiedzy niepewnej, w rozdziale 5 przedstawiono zasady formułowania reguł w kategoriach logiki rozmytej. Domknięcie proponowanego zestawu procedur diagnostycznych, stanowi moduł oparty na zastosowaniu logiki dwuwartościowej. Jakkolwiek rozwiązania tej klasy są już standardem w systemach ekspertowych, jednakże rozważania rozdziału 6 pokazują usytuowanie i rolę tego modułu w całym kompleksie działań diagnostycznych, składających się na proponowane w pracy rozwiązania. Rozprawę zamyka podsumowanie (rozdział 7) w którym zwrócono uwagę na najważniejsze aspekty proponowanego rozwiązania oraz rezultaty potwierdzające jego walory użytkowe.
Structure of algorithms and modules of the knowledge for the purposes of the diagnostics of defects in the metalwork.
The Chapter 2 contains the analysis of technological conditions having significant influence on possibilities of coming into existence of defects. In chapter 3 an author's conception was presented to the representation of the knowledge representation in the form of an array of attributes. The technical contents, as well as ways to use the array are the result of the author's original ideas, similarly to procedures of concluding concerning the identification of. the name (type) defects. The result of thorough analysing of source materials and numerous discussions with experts, there are the characteristics of various defects, expressed as an array. Bases of Logic of Plausible Reasoning (LPR), with the conception of using this formalism for the representation of the knowledge about defects related to the terms of the uncertainty of this knowledge is presented in the Chapter 4. As the alternative in the ratio to LPR in the representation of uncertain knowledge, in Chapter 5 is presented the principles for the formulation of rules in terms of fuzzy logic. Closing the proposed set of diagnostic procedures, a module based on the use of bivalent logic is presented. Although the solutions of this class are already now a standard in expert systems, however, the considerations of Chapter 6 show the context and role of this module in the entire complex of diagnostic activities that make up the solutions proposed at the work. A summary is closing the trial which they are payed attention to important aspects of the proposed solution and results confirming his functional advantages in.
