SUMMARY

The Upper Jurassic deposits recently assigned to :the Upper Oxfordian and Lower Kim'l)leridgian (the Idoceras planula -KatroliceraS divisum ammo-nite zones) occur in the area of Sulej6w upon Pilica dver, NW Mesozoie margins of the Holy Cross Mts. The deposits area here· divided into 4 lithologieal complexes. The section of the second complex com-prising the Sutneria platynota and possibly the ba6a1 part of the Altaxioceras hyp[!e1ocyc1um zone is discussed in detail. This complex primarily com-prl8es apar-ry mlcroonkol:itic, lumpy and micritic limestones. The limestones yield numerous soleno-· parids,: corals, pelecypods and ga&tropods.· Deposits of that cOOllPlex correspond to the Recent deposits of the lumpy, __ hlmpy-llrilty aD(ipartly silty . fades . from the Great Bahama Bank.
