Girl: Yes, please! I love looking through the window at the trees and people that we pass by.
Boy: Take your seat then. The train is leaving in a moment.
Girl: OK.
Rozmowa 2.
Boy: I’m tired. I can’t run any more. Can we sit down and rest a little?
Girl: Look! We could sit under the tree over there.
Boy: Why don’t we sit on the grass near the flowers?
Girl: Great idea!
Rozmowa 3.
Boy: Aren’t we too early? I can’t see anybody from our team.
Girl: We’re playing the match at 3 p.m. We have a lot of time to warm up.
Boy: OK. I’ll put on my trainers and you bring the ball.
Girl: Sure.
Rozmowa 4.
Boy: Wow! The weather’s fantastic! I’m so happy we are here!
Girl: I think the water’s a bit cold. Nobody’s swimming.
Boy: Don’t worry. I swam here yesterday and it was OK.
Girl: If you say so… but I think I’ll stay under this umbrella and read a book for now.
Rozmowa 5.
Girl: Where are our seats?
Boy: Check the tickets.
Girl: OK. We have seats 7 and 8, near the screen.
Boy: Let’s hurry up. The film’s starting very soon.
Zadanie 2
Tekst 1.Man: Helen, we’re moving our things to the new house this afternoon.
Girl: Great. I can’t wait to arrange my new room.
Man: Today we will take your bookcase so please pack your books. And empty your desk. Mr Jackson is going to take it for his daughter.
Girl: My pink desk?
Man: Don’t you remember? We agreed to get you a bigger one. I’ve seen some interesting furniture for teenagers at the shop and I’m sure we’ll find something for you there.
Girl: Great! And what about my bed?
Man: Tonight we are still sleeping in this house. We are moving our beds tomorrow.

Boy: Mum, I need your help with my project. I have to choose a picture showing a typical English person.
Woman: Well… it’s hard because everybody’s different.

Boy: I know… but at school we are talking about European nations and their characteristics.
Woman: Fine, let’s try then. Drinking tea at five o’clock is definitely not true anymore.
Boy: Yes, you’re right. What about taking an umbrella everywhere because it rains a lot in England?
Woman: Well, my English friends don’t do that. I think it’s safe to say the English love pets, so the picture with puppies is perfect.
Boy: Good point! I’ll use that one.

Girl: My weekdays are almost always the same. When I come back home from school, I do my homework. Then, I go to the park. Sometimes, before going to bed, I watch TV. But I like Monday and Friday evenings the most because I have my dancing classes then. I love dancing. It’s my favourite hobby!

Girl: Look what I found on the Internet. You couldn’t buy it at a typical florist’s.
Boy: Wow, it looks great. I can see bananas and oranges. There’s also a kiwi.
Girl: Yes, and there is a chocolate heart in the middle.
Boy: I’ll buy it for Mother’s Day. It’s better than flowers.

Girl: Hi Sue! Chris called me today to say sorry for not coming to my party! He offered to help me with the geography project and invited me for a bike ride tomorrow. But my bike’s broken. Could I use yours? Please! Call me back!
