Z KRONIKI BIBLIOTEKI UMCS Sprawy lokalowe

Sprawa budowy nowego gmachu i jego zagospodarowania była omawiana na wielu konferenejach zarówno w ścisłym gronie ko

legium dyrektorskiego, jak i na zebraniach Rady Bibliotecznej.

Okazało się koniecznym wprowadzenie pewnych zmian dotyczących pomieszczeń na pracownię fototechniczną, komorę dezynfekcyjną, lntrollgatornię w związku z decyzją umieszczenia w piachu

także d r u k a m i dla potrzeb Uniwersytetu. Ogólną opiekę nad sprawami budowy i wyposażenia gmachu przejął obecnie mgr Marek Zdrojewski, pełnomocnik Rektora dla spraw Biblioteki.

Zebrania, konferencje, ses.le naukowe

V drugim półroczu'19&5 £• odbyło się ogółem 12 zebrań Rady Bibliotecznej. Wśród tematyki omawianej na zebraniach domino- ' wały, jak wspomniano wyżej, problemy związane z budową nowego

gmachu, zagospodarowaniem go, wyposażeniem w sprzęt, schema

tem organizacyjnym przyszłej Biblioteki, przeprowadzką itp.

( 11 zebrań na og. liczbę 12 poświęconych było tym sprawom).

Ra konferencjach Rady Bibliotecznej omawiane były nadto, jak zwykle, sprany bieżące i organizacyjne: praktyki wakacyj

ne studentów bibliotekoznawstwa Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego, szkolenie praoowników Biblioteki i związane z tym przesuwanie ich do różnyoh oddziałów, sprawozdania z wyjazdów na kursy szkoleniowe i konferencje (3~tygodniowy Kurs Informacji Nau

kowej zorganizowany przez MSzW przy współudziale Biblioteki WSR i AGE w Krakowie 6-25*IX*65 r *« 2-dniowa Konferencja Bibliotekarzy Polskioh na temat bibliotecznej służby infor-.

ny historii nauki i techniki, urządzonej w Lublinie przez Instytut Historii Nauki i Techniki FAN, sprawa uruchomienia kserografu itp.

W dniach 3 i 4- XI dyrektor Biblioteki Tadeusz Smółka oraz kol. Teresa Batorska jako przedstawiciele lubelskiego oddzia

łu Stowarzyszenia Bibliotekarzy Polskich wzięli udział w ses

ji naukowej zorganizowanej w Warszawie na temat f,Biblioteczna Służba Informacyjna". W tych samych dniach odbyła się w Biblio

tece Zakładu Narodowego im. Ossolińskich we Wrocławiu konfe

rencja pracowników Stacji Mikrofilmowych bibliotek PAN i uni

wersyteckich. Nasza Biblioteka, reprezentowana była przez kie

rownika Pracowni Mikrofilmowej-j kol. Wiesławę Pajks oraz kol.

Krystynę Czapnik. Dr Stefan Wojciechowski wyjeżdżał w paździer niku do Łodzi na konferencję zespołu redakcyjnego Słownika biograficznego pracowników książki polskiej.

Szkolenie

W okresie sprawozdawczym odbyły się trzy zebrania szkole

niowe pracowników Biblioteki. Głównym tematem zebrania w dn.

18.X. było szczegółowe sprawozdanie kol. Teresy Batorskiej z kursu poświęconego zagadnieniom informacji naukowej, który

odbył się w dn.6*25«IX.br. w Krakowie. Zebranie szkoleniowe w dn.25.XI w znacznej mierze wypełnił referat kol. Oktawii Pietruskiej pt. "Organizacje bibliotekarskie i działalność <

UNESCO na.terenie kulturalno-oświatowym". Referentka bardzo interesująco przedstawiła działalność UNESCO, PIDu i IFLA,- zwracając również uwagę na ich działalność bibliotekarską.

Ostatnie zebranie roku 1965- w dn. 21.XII poświęcone było dwom zagadnieniom:kol. Izolda Kęsik omówiła bieżący rocznik Biuletynu UNESCO, a kol. Barbara Planczewska - niektóre pro

blemy związane z opracowywaniem starodruków.

Pracownicy Biblioteki poza zebraniami szkoleniowymi indy

widualnie uzupełniali swoją wiedzę zawodową na konferencjach, kursach oraz podczas kilkudniowych wyjazdów do innych biblio

tek. W dn.6-25.IX został zorganizowany w Krakowie kurs z za- kresu informacji naukowej. Uczestniczyły w nim kol. Teresa Batorska oraz przez kilka ostatnich dni kol. Maria Wilczyńska

i SLtbieta Zamorowska. Kurs był zorganizowany przez MSzW przy współudziale WSE i AGH w Krakowie. Kol. Elżbieta Zamorowska brała udział w kursie zorganizowanym przez CIINTE w dn.

9-30.XI w Warszawie. Program wypełniły zagadnienia z zakresu dokumentacji naukowo-technicznej.

Celem zapoznania się z pracą innych bibliotek wyjeżdżali: kol.

Krystyna Czapnik do oddziału opracowania Biblioteki Zakładu Narodowego im. Ossolińskich oraz Biblioteki Uniwersyteckiej we Wrocławiu, kol. Maria Wilczyńska do oddziału informaeji Biblioteki Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego oraz kol. Krystyna Bilska do oddziału udostępniania Biblioteki Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego.

W II półroczu 1965 urządzono 13 mniejszych wystaw oko

licznościowych i nowości oraz współpracowano przy zorganizowa

niu wspomnianej już większej wystawy książki angielskiej z dziedziny historii nauki i techniki. Była to wystawa materia

łów przekazanych przez ambasadę angielską Zakładowi historii Nauki i Techniki PAN w Warszawie.
