Electricity generation cost analysis

Abstract

The paper presents the analysis of unitary discount electricity generation cost in power plants and combined and heat power (CHP) plants. There are analysed the electricity generation costs in the following types of power plants: a) supercritical steam power plants fired with brown and hard coal, b) IGCC power plants fired with brown and hard coal, c) CCGT power plant fired with natural gas, and d) nuclear power plants and also in the following CHP plants: a) CHP plants with backpressure steam turbine fired with hard coal, b) CHP plants with extraction-condensing steam turbine fired with hard coal, c) supercritical CHP plants fired with hard coal and d) gas-steam CHP plants fired with natural gas.

Analiza kosztów wytwarzania energii elektrycznej

STRESZCZENIE. W artykule przedstawiono analizê jednostkowych, zdyskontowanych kosztów wy- twarzania energii elektrycznej w elektrowniach i elektrociep³owniach. Analizowano koszty wytwarzania energii elektrycznej w nastêpuj¹cych rodzajach elektrowni: a) elektrowniach parowych na parametry nadkrytyczne opalanych wêglem brunatnym i kamiennym, b) elek- trowniach gazowo-parowych zintegrowanych ze zgazowaniem wêgla brunatnego i kamien- nego (Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle – IGCC), c) elektrowniach gazowo-parowych opalanych gazem ziemnym ziemnym (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine – CCGT) oraz d) elek- trowniach j¹drowych, a tak¿e w nastêpuj¹cych rodzajach elektrociep³owni: a) elektrociep³ow- niach parowych z turbinami przeciwprê¿nymi opalanych wêglem kamiennym, b) elektro- ciep³owniach parowych z turbinami upustowo-kondensacyjnymi opalanych wêglem ka- miennym, c) elektrociep³owniach parowych na parametry nadkrytyczne opalanych wêglem kamiennym oraz d) elektrociep³owniach gazowo-parowych opalanych gazem ziemnym.
