Report of the Editor To the Editorial Board

of

Polish Journal of Political Science, February 8, 2016

Introduction

This Report of Editor to the Editorial Board to the Polish Journal of Political Science has two purposes. The first is to review developments and trends in submissions during the previous year. The second is to review my editorial goals and accomplishments over last year.

The Year in Review

Goals and Accomplishments

Our main goal was to maintain schedule and publish every issue till end of last month of quarter and collaborate with authors affiliated in institutions around Poland. The second, was part of obtaining minimal recognition in polish scientific society.

We managed to publish issues on regular basis and our journal obtain some recognition at least within young fellow researchers.

Recognition by

Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education

One of our main goals for 2015 was to become recognized by Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. PJSP was a subject of audit and evaluation by commission. As an result PJPS was included on Ministry List of Evaluated Journals and awarded 5 points.

Changes in Editorial Staff

In 2016 some associated editors were replaced (current staff on next page). We are also honored to welcome Shpresa Kureta, Her Excellency Ambassador of Albania to Poland in our Editorial Board.
