Hello. My name is WP, I'm 14 yrs old. Today I would like to tell you about wildfires in Australia.
First of all, i want to tell you what acually caused the fires.
Most scientists claim that the main reason is the global warming.
Because of the global warming, the temperatures in Australia are reaching very high levels, so dry bushes catch fire easily and the fire spreads very fast.
A lot of people and animals are being hurt because of the fire, many locals have lost their houses and the animals cannot live in such
conditions.
About 0.5 billion animals and 28 humans died because of the fire. Carbon dioxide from the fire causes air pollution which can lead to air poisoning, so it is definitely a global danger. The situation in Australia is simmilar to the Amazon Rainforest fire, both of the fires have caused a lot of damage to the enviroment.
Now I'm going to tell you what we should do as humans. We need to reduce carbon dioxide emission, use filters and reusable sources of
energy such as solar energy and energy from the wind farms. We should also use more recyclable materials and help the charities collect money for the enviroment.
Young people, like me can also help. We can use less products with plastic packaging, save enegry by turning off the light when we leave the room. We should also use the public transport, because it is much more eco-friendly than regular cars. If you see someone breaking these rules, you should warn them.
