ABOUT THE JOURNAL
„FARMACJA POLSKA”
„Farmacja Polska” is a scientific journal of the Po- lish Pharmaceutical Society published since 1945, sin- ce 2009 as a monthly.
It publishes experimental scientific papers and re- view articles in the field of pharmaceutical sciences:
applied pharmacy, drug form technology, biophar- macy, pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, toxicology, social pharmacy and the history of phar- macy. It also includes articles on socio-professional topics, reviews of pharmaceutical scientific publishing houses, reports on conferences and symposia, the ac- tivities of pharmaceutical institutions and the Polish Pharmaceutical Society, notes on professional jubile- es and posthumous memories.
PREPARATION OF THE MANUSCRIPT
The entire manuscript prepared in Polish may also be published in full in English. The magazine does not offer translation services. The editors of the magazi- ne that are not properly prepared will be returned to the authors.
FRONT PAGE
The first page should contain the title of the work in Polish and English, surnames and first names of the authors, affiliation of the scientific unit in which the manuscript was created, ORCID number. Be- low should be the exact address and phone num- ber, e-mail address of the author responsible for correspondence.
ABSTRACT
Abstracts of original scientific works, both in Polish and English should contain at least 2000 characters (the system will not accept papers if the abstract does not meet this condition), which consist of 5 separate parts introduced with separate subtitles in the follo- wing order: research subject, research objective, ma- terial and methods, results, conclusions.
Unstructured abstracts in both Polish and English should contain at least 2000 characters (the system will not accept papers if the abstract does not meet this condition).
All abbreviations used in the text should be expla- ined in the article.
KEYWORDS
After the abstract, enter from 3 to 5 keywords in Po- lish and the same in English (recommended by MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/
mesh/meshhome.html).
MAIN TEXT
Manuscripts should be sent in the following for- mats: doc, docx, rtf. The total number of words in re- view articles should not exceed 12,000 words and in original articles 10,000 words. References to literatu- re, figures and tables should be placed in the order of citation in the text. The author (authors) should not use italics, bold or underlined words. Bold and italics can only be used for subheadings, latin names and chemical compound names. Only international drug names should be used in the text. Laboratory valu- es should be expressed using the International Sys- tem of Units (SI).
LITERATURE
It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the accuracy of all references in accordance with the AMA citation style (Vancouver Style). References should be limited to only the most recent items and directly related to the topic presented. References should be identified by Arabic numerals in square brackets and numbered in the order in which they were first men- tioned in the manuscript. Journal abbreviations sho- uld be cited in accordance with Index Medicus. If the journal is not listed in Index Medicus, its full name should be provided. If the cited work is available on- line, provide the DOI number, and if not, the URL with the date of access.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
They may include acknowledgments to people who have contributed significantly to the preparation of the thesis, but whose contribution was not sufficient to be considered authors. Acknowledgments should be short and should not contain thanks to anonymo- us reviewers and editors and the place of employment of the persons who contributed to the preparation of the thesis.

FIGURES AND TABLES
Charts, figures, photographs, structural chemical formulas and others should be sent in separate files.
All markings and symbols in figures must be legible
TABLES
The tables should be in separate files. References to tables should be placed in the order they are cited in the manuscript. Table captions should be placed in Polish and English.
Allowed format
– tables in any version of MS Word (*.doc) or as MS Excel sheets (*.xls).
CHARTS AND DIAGRAMS
– EPS or Adobe Illustrator files (*.eps or *.ai), – chart files in any version of MS Word (*.doc) or as
MS Excel sheets (*.xls)
FIGURES
Figures should be placed in separate files. Referen- ces to figures should be placed in the order in which they were quoted in the manuscript.
Descriptions of figures should be placed in the main text in Polish and English.
Allowed format
– TIFF/PSD – with flattened text layers and witho- ut matching layers (300 ppi resolution in 1:1 size).
– Composite PDF – from any program, as long as the fonts are embedded in it (300 ppi resolu- tion in 1:1 size).
– EPS – from any program, as long as there are skewed fonts. It should, if possible, be distilled in Adobe Acrobat (this should capture any errors).
– NOTE: The most common mistake is to save the image in JPEG format (i.e. with lossy compres- sion, which causes some of the details to di- sappear). If there is no other way to save, please set the JPEG quality parameter (300 ppi resolu- tion in 1:1 size) to “minimum compression, ma- ximum quality”.
If the author uses any drawings, photographs, charts, tables, etc. in the manuscript that are not his work and are protected by copyright, he is obliged to give the Publisher written permission of the copyri- ght owners to use the materials used. The author is obliged to confirm the source of all figures, photo- graphs, charts, etc.
AUTHORSHIP
The correspondent author of the manuscript should list all authors, determine their order in the publication, as well as determine their contribution to the publica- tion. All listed authors should meet all authorship cri- teria, and all those who meet these criteria should be identified as authors. The contribution of each author must be documented to the extent that he can take re- sponsibility for the relevant parts of the work, content and conflict of interest.
Authorship should be based on meeting three cri- teria
– a significant contribution to the work concept or project; or acquiring, analyzing or interpre- ting work data,
– work development or critical verification of im- portant intellectual content,
– final approval of the version to be published.
All authors who have made significant contribu- tions should be mentioned as co-authors and their authorship should be disclosed according to their per- centage share in the creation of the work.
ORCID
Authors submitting their manuscripts are obliged to use a unique ORCID number (identifier of the open researcher and contributor). It is a popular digital tool enabling identification of the author and his research work in scientific communication.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST
Authors are required to disclose information abo- ut the sources of funding for the manuscript, as well as the contributions of research institutions, associa- tions and other entities („disclosure of financial infor- mation”). All authors are required to submit a conflict of interest statement. At the end of the text, under the signature ‚Conflict of Interest’, all authors must disclo- se any financial and personal relationships with other persons or organizations that could improperly affect (their bias) their work.
Examples of financial conflicts include:
– employment, – consultations, – ownership of shares, – fees,
– paid expertise,
– patents or patent applications, – grants/subsidies for trips.
If there is no conflict of interest, the authors should state that it does not exist.
