SUMMARY
The .article deals with the most important results 'of the 'study so far made by the present author on the relationships between the lithological develop-ment·of the Upper Cretaceous formations in the region 'situated south of Ch~ciny and phototone of air sur-veys. It results from the study considered that such relationship may be documented in a given area, and that it is of considerable 'significance in solu-tion of cartographic-geological problems. The results also inform that here a sedimentary rhythmicity .occurs, especially regular in the series of the Upper Cretaceous deposits. Such a documentation of the sedilpentary rhythmicity is of considerable scienti-.ficimportance, as well:
