Abstract
A graphical representation of coherent superposition of two waves on the 3D coordinate system based on the Stokes vector parameters was presented. It was shown that if the relative intensity of component waves was changed, points representing resultant polarization states and intensities of superposed light created ellipses on the 3D coordinate system mentioned above.
