Rozprawa stanowi ujęcie problematyki organizacji systemu informacyjnego oraz integracji zasobów wiedzy w kontekście doskonalenia procesów odlewniczych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem technologii wytwarzania odlewów staliwnych. Praca obejmuje 12 rozdziałów poświęconych m.in.: opisaniu podstawowych procesów technologicznych w cyklu przygotowania odlewów (staliwnych), podstawowym zadaniom systemu informatycznego w produkcji, różnym metodom pozyskiwania wiedzy, aspektom reprezentacji i integracji wiedzy, koncepcji i wartości użytkowej systemu OntoCast.
Na tle analizy przyczyn powstawania wad odlewów przedstawiono równe formalizmy i metody reprezentacji wiedzy, wskazując możliwości jej efektywnego wykorzystania poprzez odpowiednią organizację procedur diagnostycznych oraz integrację i udostępnianie poszczególnych modułów wiedzy pozyskiwanej z heterogenicznych źródeł. Tematyka oraz zakres pracy są interdyscyplinarne. Dotyczą z jednej strony zagadnień technologii odlewniczych, z drugiej zaś zastosowań sztucznej inteligencji, metod inżynierii wiedzy i narzędzi informatycznych.
Wśród narzędzi i formalizmów opisanych w rozprawie znalazły się: ontologiczne modele wiedzy technologicznej w języku OWL, modele wykorzystujące logikę rozmytą, model klasyfikujący wady odlewnicze z zastosowaniem logiki przybliżonej, modele drzew regresyjnych (decyzyjnych) oraz algorytm automatycznego generowania reguł decyzyjnych, regułowy system ekspertowy, a także inne autorskie algorytmy wspomagające konstrukcję systemów informacyjnych.
Improvement of the production processes of cast-steel castings by organizing the information flow and integration of knowledge
This dissertation is a presentation of organization of information systems and the integration of knowledge in the context of improving casting processes, with emphasis on the production of casting steel. The work includes 12 chapters including: describing the basic technological processes in the cycle of castings production, the main tasks for the information system in production, different methods of acquiring knowledge, aspects of the representation and integration of knowledge, ideas of OntoCast system.
On the background of the analysis of the causes of castings defects, equivalent formalisms and methods of knowledge representation are show. Particular emphasis was placed on the indicating the possibility of its effective use by the organization and integration of diagnostic procedures and the sharing of individual modules of knowledge derived from heterogeneous sources. Subject and scope of work is interdisciplinary, related to both the casting technology issues, and on the other hand uses of artificial intelligence, knowledge engineering methods and tools.
Among the tools and formalisms described in the dissertation were: ontological models of technological knowledge in OWL, the models using fuzzy logic, the classifying model of casting defects using rough sets, regression (decision) trees and the algorithm for automatic generation of decision rules, rule-based expert system, and other algorithms created to support the construction of information systems.
