Celem pracy była ocena zasobów wód i energii geotermalnej formacji mezozoicznej niecki szczecińskiej. W pierwszym etapie stworzono model geologiczny niecki szczecińskiej, w skład którego weszły mapy strukturalne i miąższościowe, przekroje litostratygraficzne oraz korelacje profili litologicznych. Obszar badań został scharakteryzowany pod względem termicznym, a także hydrochemicznym. Przeprowadzone prace umożliwiły wydzielenie dolnojurajskiego poziomu wodonośnego jako najbardziej perspektywicznego pod względem zagospodarowania wód geotermalnych, dając podstawę do dalszych analiz. Etap kolejny obejmował analizę cech zbiornikowych, parametrów petrofizycznych i hydrogeologicznych dolnojurajskiego poziomu wodonośnego. Przeprowadzono interpretację profilowań geofizyki wiertniczej uzyskując informacje na temat porowatości i zailenia utworów dolnojurajskich. W celu zobrazowania przepływu dolnojurajskich wód podziemnych stworzono numeryczny model hydrogeologiczny, w efekcie którego uzyskano ustalony system krążenia wód w formie siatki hydrodynamicznej oraz bilans krążenia wód podziemnych. Podsumowaniem analiz dolnojurajskiego poziomu geotermalnego było przeprowadzenie oceny zasobów geotermalnych. W efekcie przeprowadzonych analiz powstała mapa wskazująca optymalne strefy dla wykorzystania ciepła dolnojurajskich wód geotermalnych w rejonie niecki szczecińskiej.
“Geological analysis and assessment of geothermal water and energy resources of Mesozoic formations in the Szczecin Trough”
Aim of the study was to assess geothermal water and energy resources of Mesozoic formations in the Szczecin Trough. First stage of the project was to construct geological model of the Szczecin Through consisting of structural and thickness maps, lithostratigraphic cross sections and correlation of lithological profiles. The area of the study was characterized with respect to its thermal and hydrochemical properties. Results of that stage of the study allowed to indicate the Lower Jurassic aquifer as the most prospective formation in the Szczecin Through for geothermal resources development. Water resources were estimated by means of dynamic hydrogeological modeling. The foundations of the conceptual model were interpreted well logs data, which enabled separation of water bearing formations within Lower Jurassic sediments, together with their petrophysical parameters. As a result of dynamic modeling water circulation system was established as well as water mass balance. Geothermal resources were calculated in respective categories according to methodology accepted by European Union countries. The final result of the study was presented in the form of map indicating optimal areas for development of geothermal resources in the Szczecin Through.
