dewonu,
-wskazania stref o najlepszych parametrach zbiornikowych („sweet spots”). Powyższe etapy mają swoje odzwierciedlenie w poszczególnych, sześciu zasadniczych rozdziałach pracy.
Influence of the petrophysical properties of Devonian carbonate rocks in
selected regions of the Lublin Basin on the possibility of hydrocarbon
accumulation
The majority of hydrocarbon deposits discovered in the Lublin petroleum province are accumulated in the Carboniferous rocks, only two natural gas deposits (Ciecierzyn and Mełgiew) occur in the Devonian (Frasnian) carbonate rocks. In the Middle and Upper Devonian profile of the Lublin Basin there are coral Frasnian limestones, cavernous Frasnian dolomites and Famennian carbonates considered to be potentially good reservoir rocks. Petrophysical properties these rocks have not yet been studied in detail. Lack of research of reservoir and filtration properties of these rocks, which would allow assessing the possibility of hydrocarbon accumulation, prompted the author to take up the subject of the doctoral dissertation. The main aim of the dissertation was to identify selected petrophysical properties of carbonate reservoirs of the Middle and Upper Devonian in the Lublin Basin, in the aspect of the possibility of hydrocarbons accumulation. Pore space of Devonian carbonate reservoirs has been mainly shaped by epidiagenetic processes. In order to achieve the assumed objective of the dissertation, the results of laboratory tests of petrophysical parameters as well as analytical and computer models of the Middle and Upper Devonian carbonates were combined. It allowed indicating zones with the most favorable values of reservoir and filtration parameters. The implementation of such a specific aim was carried out in stages and required:
-literature research,
-selection of the research area,
-laboratory tests of mineral composition and petrophysical properties of Devonian carbonate rocks (porosity, permeability, capillary pressure and wettability),
-statistical analysis of petrophysical parameters,
carbonate reservoirs,
-indication of zones with the best reservoir parameters ("sweet spots").
The above-mentioned stages are reflected in individual, six main chapters of the dissertation.
