Wykrywanie i lokalizacja uszkodzeń struktury w wybranych obszarach
geo-metrycznych z wykorzystaniem teorii spektralnej
Detection and localization structural damage in selected geometric domains
using spectral theory
I present the results of research on the detection and location of damage for geometric areas fi such as square with side length one, circle with unit radius and center at the origin, ellipse with half-axis equal to 1 and a large half-axis equal to 1.5 and equilateral triangle, isosceles triangle and rectangular triangle. I use spectrum of the Laplace operator as a tool thanks to which I created the isochoric maps of the given areas, in order to determine the location of the damage based on the maps and the spectrum of the area with damage. For square, circle and ellipse, I show a direct method of reading the location of damage based on created isochor maps. In the case of triangles, I present the method of visual identification of the location of the damage by reading the areas from the maps created using the range, i.e. the difference between the value of the largest eigenvalues and the smallest value of eigenvalues. In mathematical symbolism, the range is written with the following equation R = λmax - λmin.
In addition, I consider the Laplace operator’s spectral properties for squares with side lengths 1, 2 and 3 and circles with radius equal to 1 and 2.1 analyze their spectrum looking for similarities between them. Separately for individual geometric figures. I study the symmetry and regularity of the spectrum based on color isochoric maps and three-dimensional minimum surfaces λmin and maximum λmax. eigenvalues. I give the
dependence between the form of the spectrum of subsequent squares and the length of their sides.
