Planowanie gospodarki odpadami komunalnymi na poziomie gminy lub przedsiębiorstwa, wymaga szczegółowego rozpoznania ilości i jakości odbieranych odpadów (zmieszanych i segregowanych). Dotychczas analizy właściwości technologicznych odpadów prowadzono głównie na terenach miejskich. Na obszarach wiejskich i podmiejskich takie analizy należą do rzadkości.
W rozprawie zamieszczono charakterystykę wybranych właściwości technologicznych odpadów komunalnych odbieranych z 10 gmin podmiejskich oraz z miasta Krakowa. Odpady odbierane z obszaru przyjętego do badań w przyszłości będą unieszkodliwiane w ZTPO, dlatego oprócz określenia wskaźników nagromadzenia i właściwości fizycznych odpadów, oznaczono również ich właściwości paliwowe. Wyniki badań porównano z właściwościami odpadów komunalnych odbieranych z terenu miasta Krakowa oraz wskaźnikami zawartymi w KPGO i w GUS. Ponadto w rozprawie wykonano analizę i ocenę współzależności pomiędzy właściwościami technologicznymi odpadów a cechami charakteryzującymi obszary podmiejskie, za pomocą sieci bayes’owskich.
W wyniku przeprowadzonych analiz stwierdzono m. in. istotne zależności pomiędzy nagromadzeniem odpadów w gminach podmiejskich a: gęstością zaludnienia, wielkością gospodarstwa domowego, udziałem użytków rolnych w strukturze powierzchni gminy, typem funkcjonalnym gminy oraz nasyceniem w infrastrukturę techniczną.
Title: Technological properties of municipal solid waste in suburban areas.
Abstract: Municipal waste management planning at the level of municipality or company requires accurate identification of quantity and quality of the waste (mixed or sorted). The analyses of technological properties of wastes have hitherto been performed in urban areas. There is scarcity of such analyses in rural and suburban areas.
The dissertation contains the characteristics of selected technological properties of municipal waste collected from 10 suburban municipalities as well as from the city of Cracow. Apart from examining waste accumulation rates and physical properties of waste, fuel properties of waste have been determined. The results of the research have been compared with the properties of municipal waste collected from the area of the city of Cracow as well as with the indicators specified by the NWMP and CSO. An analysis of the interdependency of technological properties of waste and the characteristic features of the suburban areas have been made with the use of Bayesian network and they have been included in the dissertation.
As a result of the performed analyses, it has been observed that in suburban municipalities, there is significant correlation of waste accumulation with the following: population density; household size; the share of cultivated land within the municipal area structure; the functional type; the saturation with elements of technical infrastructure.
