Zebrano zbiór profilowań temperatury, z obszaru Karpat i zapadliska przedkarpackiego, pozyskanych przez ostatnich 50 lat. Większość pomiarów wymagała standaryzacji. Dla celów tej pracy, wybrano metodę równowagi. Zamodelowano zmienność temperatury, gradientu i stopnia geotermicznego. Wyniki modelowania, zostały skorelowane z innymi zjawiskami geologicznymi. Korelacje zostały opisane i zinterpretowane. Pozwala to na wyciągnięcie nast. wniosków:
Korekta profilowań temperatury jest absolutną koniecznością.
Ilość i rozprzestrzenienie profilowań temperatury skłania do zastosowania modelowania trójwymiarowego.
Anomalie termiczne są związane z budową geologiczną obszaru badań. Wynikają one z pozycji strukturalnej skonsolidowanego podłoża, systemu nieciągłości tektonicznych w spągu zapadliska przedkarpackiego i Karpat, zmian wykształcenia lito- facjalnego. Wyniki modelowania potwierdzają hipotezę, iż własności termiczne litosfery, zmieniają się w sposób nieregularny we wszystkich trzech wymiarach, a zjawisko to ma znacznie bardziej skomplikowany charakter niż sądzono dotychczas.
Spatial distribution of the selected parameters of the terrestrial thermal field
within the Polish Carpathians and the Carpathian Foredeep
A set of thermal well logs, from the Polish Carpathians and the Carpathian Foredeep, was collected over a period of 50 years. Most of the logs needed correction. For the purpose of this work a equilibrium method was selected. The temperature, the thermal gradient and the reciprocal thermal gradient were modelled. The modelling techniques were described. The result of the modelling process is a coherent 3D model between the ground level and the 160°C isotherm. It was illustrated by a series of maps and cross-sections. The modelling process resulted in the mapping of several previously unknown, thermal anomalies located within the Carpathian Foredeep. The modelling process results, were correlated with other geological phenomena. These correlations were discussed and interpreted. This interpretation resulted in the following conclusions:
The standardization of the thermal logs is an absolute necessity.
The number and the spatial distribution of the thermal logs acquired in the wells suggest the application of three dimensional modelling as a tool for investigation of the temperature and thermal gradients changes.
The thermal anomalies are related to the geology of the investigated area. They result from the structural position of the consolidated basement manifested at the map of the Bouguer anomaly, and a system of faults and fault zones and vertical facies and lithology changes.
The modelling results confirm the hypothesis, that the thermal parameters of the lithosphere are irregularly differentiated to a considerably higher degree than imagined before.
