submikrokrystaliczna C-S-H a w próbkach o stosunku molowym CaO/SiO2
The paper present the impact of gypsum on the phase composition, microstructure and properties of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), based on quartz sand, with different CaO/SiO2 molar ratio. The investigation was divided
into three stages of research. The first stage of research was conducted in technological scale and showed that the addition of gypsum has positive effect on compressive strength of AAC in the early stages of its production process. Model tests in the second stage of research, without gypsum additive, showed that with increase CaO/SiO2 molar ratio in the starting mixture a higher degree
of conversion quartz and formation more and better crystallized calcium silicate hydrates was observed. For sample with CaO/SiO2 0,32 molar ratio mainly
hydration product is semi-crystalline C-S-H and for sample with CaO/SiO2 0,57
tobermorite like plate. The subject of influence Al3+ ions on crystallization hydrogarnets was tested. Research in the third stage of investigation showed that for samples with 45% binder content and with CaO/SiO2 0,57 molar ratio
compressive strength increased with amount of gypsum additive. It was found, that additive of gypsum has impact on habit of formed phases - tobermorite like plate was transformed into fibrous tobermorite and fibrous C-S-H.
