Efektywność energetyczna adsorpcyjnego agregatu chłodniczego o
modyfikowanej konstrukcji złóż
W adsorpcyjnych agregatach chłodniczych upatruje się możliwości znaczącego
ograniczenia wykorzystania energii elektrycznej do produkcji chłodu. Przeszkodą do
upowszechnienia tej technologii jest niska sprawność obecnie dostępnych na rynku
systemów sorpcyjnych. W związku z powyższym, głównym celem rozprawy jest analiza
metod intensyfikacji transportu ciepła i masy w złożu sorbentu, będąca podstawą do
opracowania innowacyjnych konstrukcji złóż adsorpcyjnych, które pozwolą osiągnąć
podwyższoną efektywność energetyczną chłodniczego agregatu adsorpcyjnego.
Klu-czową część pracy stanowią badania eksperymentalne przeprowadzone na
stanowis-ku badawczym w postaci trójzłożowej chłodziarki adsorpcyjnej z systemem odsalania.
Zebrane charakterystyki temperaturowe cyklu pracy analizowanego urządzenia
wykorzystano do opracowania numerycznego modelu złoża adsorpcyjnego. Na
podstawie wykonanych badań opracowano efektywne narzędzie inżynierskie
pozwalające symulować pracę sekcji sorpcyjnej, w celu wstępnej weryfikacji
sprawności innowacyjnych konstrukcji wymienników ciepła. Dzięki temu, do etapu
kosztochłonnych badań eksperymentalnych, które poprzedzają przemysłowe
wdrożenie nowych typów złóż, wybrane zostają konstrukcje poddane już wstępnej
optymalizacji. Opracowany w ramach pracy model umożliwił zaprojektowanie
innowacyjnej, krążkowej konstrukcji złoża adsorpcyjnego, która jest przedmiotem
zgłoszenia patentowego. Ponadto zrealizowane badania potwierdziły kluczowy wpływ
geometrii powierzchni wymiany ciepła i parametrów cyklu pracy agregatu
chłodniczego na jego efektywność energetyczną.
Energetic efficiency of adsorption chiller with modified beds construction
Adsorption chillers are perceived as the possibility of significantly reducing the use of
electricity to power air conditioning devices The obstruction to the dissemination of
this technology is low efficiency of sorption refrigeration systems available on the
market. Therefore, the main goal of the dissertation was the analysis of heat and mass
transfer intensification methods in the adsorption bed. Such analysis is the basis for
the development of innovative construction of adsorption beds which will allow to
achieve increased energetic efficiency of the adsorption chiller. The crucial part of the
work are the experimental research, which were conducted using a test stand
consisting of a three- bed adsorption chiller with a desalination system. The collected
temperature characteristics of the research object’s working cycle were used to build
and validate the numerical adsorption bed model Based on the carried out research,
the effective engineering tool has been built to simulate the working cycle of the
adsorption bed for preliminary verification of efficiency of the innovative heat
exchanger designs Thanks to that, only preoptimized configurations are selected for
conducting further high-cost experimental research, which have to precede the
industrial implementation of the new types of adsorption beds. A validated model
enabled to design the innovative multi-disk sorption bed, which is the subject of a
patent application. Moreover, the conducted research confirmed the key impact of
heat exchange surface geometry and the working cycle conditions of adsorption chiller
on its energetic efficiency.
