(Summary)
Part One deals with general and more detailed problem s o f incom es redistribution through prices. T he theoretical deliberations presented here concern the place held by price redistribution in the processes o f translocation o f incom es, difficulties connected with its identification, causes o f its existence, principles o f its use in the sphere o f social services, as well as tendencies and countertendencies in its appearance. There is pointed out a natural character o f the price redistribution in a market econom y and its regulation by m eans o f indirect taxes, a limited correlation between these taxes ans the price redistribution ow ing to the differentiation of, for instance, VA T rates. The other issues discussed include the redistributive effects o f incom es indexation, the im pact exerted by its m echanisms, am ong others, on reducing the negative redistributive effects o f inflation. The analysis covered also the role o f prices ans fees in regulating the consum ption o f social services and the im plem entation o f the social p olicy, as well as in the functioning and developm ent o f units providing m unicipal services with the view to liberating the fees for municipal services from the redistributive function to the disadvantage o f those providing such services.
