Dziewczynka: I wanted to go to the cinema yesterday. But I had too much to learn for today’s maths test. So I stayed at home all Saturday and Sunday. My dad helped me learn a lot. I hope we’ll see a nice film at the cinema next weekend.

Kobieta: Sit down, John. There’s a free place by the window.
Chłopiec: OK. But where’s my ticket? I can’t find it.
Kobieta: I have it.
Chłopiec: Where should we get off?
Kobieta: Five more stops. You’ll see the stadium. And don’t worry. We’ll make it for the match.

Mężczyzna: Why are you sad, Olivia?
Dziewczynka: I’m not sad, I’m bored.
Mężczyzna: Why don’t you go for a walk with the dog then? It looks bored too.
Dziewczynka: I’ll go if you go with us.
Mężczyzna: Hmm… Why not? Be ready in 10 minutes.

Mężczyzna: Vicky, hurry up or we’ll be late!
Dziewczynka: OK. I just have to wash my hands and brush my teeth.
Mężczyzna: All right. And don’t forget to take your bag with today’s lunch.
Dziewczynka: Where is it? I can’t see it on the table.
Mężczyzna: Open the fridge and you’ll see it.

Chłopiec: Have you seen my school bag? It’s not here.
Kobieta: Yeah, you’ve left it in the kitchen. I’ll get it for you.
Chłopiec: Thanks mum. And where’s my phone?
Kobieta: Probably on your bed.
Chłopiec: No, it’s not here… Oh, wait there it is, on the floor.

Chłopiec: We won’t. Have you taken the keys from the kitchen table?
Dziewczynka: Yes, I have them here.
Chłopiec: OK, I’m locking the front door now and we’re ready to go. And put your cap on – it’s really cold!
Zadanie 3.
Chłopiec: Mum! I’ve brought the balloons for Amy’s birthday party.
Kobieta: Great! Put them under the lamp, will you? I’ll hang them on the lamp in a minute.
Chłopiec: OK. Oh, why’s there a blanket under the table?
Kobieta: I don’t know! It shouldn’t be on the floor like that.
Chłopiec: I’ll pick it up. What else should I do?
Kobieta: You can put those roses in a vase.
Chłopiec: I’m too small! I can’t reach the shelf. Oh… wait… I’ll try… OK! I did it!
Kobieta: Great! Oh, and I’ve packed the birthday gift for Amy.
Chłopiec: Let’s put it on the table. She’ll see it when she comes home.
Kobieta: All right. And now… let’s take the birthday cake out of the fridge!

Chłopiec: Some of my friends laugh at me that I still have my favourite teddy bear.
But I don’t care. I got my teddy in kindergarten and I love this toy! He’s got a funny hat and is wearing cool little shoes. He’s also got a scarf and funny little gloves that you can take off. His name’s Paddy. Isn’t he cute?

Chłopiec: Are you sure we will find the way? Let’s buy a map. I can see a newsagent’s over there.
Dziewczynka: John, don’t be silly. I’ve got a special app on my smartphone. It’ll show us where to go. Look!
Chłopiec: OK, I’ll buy the bus tickets, then.
Dziewczynka: You don’t have to. It’s a short distance. We’ll walk.
Chłopiec: All right.

Dziewczynka: Our English teacher organised a Halloween party last week. We were learning about that American tradition. It was cool! I brought a big pumpkin from my garden. We put it in the classroom. We could also dress up. My friend Christina was a bat girl – she had a short dress and cool paper wings. And I dressed as a witch. I took a broom from my house. I also had a special hat.

Dziewczynka: Sure. Oh… it’s so beautiful! I have to take a photo of it! Who made it?
Chłopiec: My sister did.
Dziewczynka: Really? I didn’t know she’s a chef. I thought she teaches tennis.
Chłopiec: Oh, you’re right. She’s a tennis instructor. But she makes cakes in her free time.
Dziewczynka: Well, she should work in a restaurant. This cake is delicious!

Kobieta: Are you ready? First, take off this cap and put your helmet on. You have to wear a helmet if you want to ride a bicycle. And don’t jump on your bike now, OK? I have to take my bike from the garage. Wait for me, I’ll bring it in a minute.
