Chłopiec: It was very cold yesterday but my brother and me didn’t have our winter caps on. Today he isn’t going to school. He has a runny nose and high temperature. He’s staying in bed because he feels very bad.

Chłopiec: I need bigger ones. And I don’t like the colour white.
Kobieta: What about these black sneakers?
Chłopiec: Oh, they look cool… and they fit perfectly!
Kobieta: Great. Let’s pay. And put the white sneakers back on the shelf, will you?

Mężczyzna: Are you doing your homework Vicky?
Dziewczyna: Yes, I am. But this exercise is very difficult!
Mężczyzna: Do you need some help with it? I’m good at maths. I can help you.
Dziewczyna: No, I want to do it by myself.

Dziewczyna: I won! Yeah!
Chłopiec: Wow, Gina, that game was amazing! You’re better than me.
Dziewczyna: I practice with my dad every day. And I bought a new racket.
Chłopiec: Oh, it’s really nice. Do you want to play again?
Dziewczyna: No, I’m tired. Let’s take the balls and rackets and go home.
Dialog 2.
Chłopiec: Do you have tennis classes today in the afternoon?
Dziewczyna: No, why?
Chłopiec: I’m playing a basketball match with my friends. Do you want to come?
Dziewczyna: Of course!
Chłopiec: OK, I’ll tell you more during the next break, OK? Let’s meet near the canteen.
The bell’s ringing now and my classroom is on the 2nd floor.
Dziewczyna: Sure. Bye!

Chłopiec: I see them. Hold on, I’ll dive and bring them back.

Kobieta: Look what I’ve got!
Chłopiec: Oh! A new lamp. And a vase!
Kobieta: Yes, I think we should change something in this room.
Chłopiec: Let’s put the lamp behind the armchair.
Kobieta: No, it’s too small. I think it’ll look better on the bookcase. But put the vase behind the armchair.
Chłopiec: Yeah, that looks really nice. Now, what about the cat figure that dad gave you for your birthday? I have it here.
Kobieta: Oh, I forgot about it! Hmm… maybe on the fireplace?
Chłopiec: I have a better idea. Look.
Kobieta: In the bookcase, between the books? You’re right! It looks OK.
Chłopiec: Should I take this book and put it on the bookcase, too?
Kobieta: No, leave it on the armchair. I want to read it in the afternoon.
