Dean of Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science of the Warsaw University of Technology, announce opening of the competition for the position of PhD Student in the MI2 group
Research Project:
MI2 group lead by Przemysław Biecek [1] is looking for PhD students or candidates interested in research in the area of machine learning. Motivated researchers with good communication skills that will work on methods, tools, and Human centred AI.
Explainable AI, Automation of Machine Learning, Interpretability and Transparency of Models, Augmentation of Data Science, all these new approaches are changing the way how we do predictive modelling. Be a part of the change! Join the group of makers behind the DrWhy.AI project [2].
Requirements for the candidate:
We look for PhD students or candidates that fulfil at least two of the following requirements:
- Track of records (published paper) in machine learning, bioinformatics or biostatistics, - Background in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics,
- Experience in real world applications of predictive models, - Prior experience in XAI/HAI/AutoML
We offer:
- Additional PhD scholarship 3000 PLN net (NCN), plus extra financial benefits based on performance,
- Budget for domestic and international conferences and collaboration, - Great atmosphere and place to work [3],
- Contract for 1 year with option to extend up to 4 years.
