Fast Ferry International

After 197 issues of Hovering Craft and Hydrofoil and 68 issues of

High-Speed Surface Craft, this is the first issue of Fast Ferry International.

Apart from a different title and layout, however, little else has changed.

As explained in the past two issues of High-Speed Surface Craft, a new

title has been adopted, as U was ten years ago, to more accurately reflect

the editorial content.

Fast Ferry International will not only concentrate on fast ferries though.

The magazine will continue to report on all high speed aspects of the

commercial marine world, including crewboats and charter vessels,

relevant low speed and naval activities, and all hovercraft and hydrofoil

developments.

Just like High-Speed Surface Craft. Except more frequently. Apart from

January and July, Fast Ferry International will be published in the middle

of every month. So it's really just more of the same!

Cover photograph: The first Marinjet 41 CPV built by Marinteknik Verkstads, seen

here during trials in Sweden, is the latest craft to be introduced on the Hong

Kong-Macau route
