This year in Rome…

Given the results from a number of updated and relevant studies published recently, sev- eral key ESC Clinical Practice Guidelines will be presented to the community during the ESC Scientific Session 2016, comprising dyslipidemias, cardiovascular disease prevention, atrial fibrilla- tion, heart failure and, for the first time, a new position paper of cardio-oncology. The spotlight:

‘The Heart Team’ will highlight the instrumen- tal role of teamwork and interactions between all health care professionals.

Discussions among the community of experts and practical guidelines presented yearly during ESC Scientific Sessions make a comprehensive summary of currently available knowledge to enhance best standards of cardiovascular care.

ESC Cardiology Quiz Session

To help you to be updated with new state-of-the art in cardiovascular medicine, Editors of Cardiology Journal organize the session of ESC Cardiology Quiz, where delegations from different international teams will be submitted to a series of questions and tests about different topics in Cardiology. Indeed, the active participation and interaction with the audience makes this session very attractive each year.

New Section Editors of Cardiology Journal

Last, but not least, we are privileged to announce new Section Editors of Cardiology Journal, reputed key opinion leaders worldwide, that through their contribution, will enhance essentially the high quality of the journal to become a major frontline player among cardiovascular scientific publications. To make this happen, the first meeting of Editors will take place during the session to discuss the editorial policy and goals.
