Danger is his business!

Can you imagine going to work every day knowing that you are putting your life on the line?

It might not be your idea of an ideal job but it is for some. Sergeant Patrick Morris knows his job is dangerous, but that's not why he comes to work every day. He likes to win, and it's the battle between him and the bombs that motivates him most. Morris is a bomb disposal expert and the leader of the bomb squad in Charleston County, USA. He is one of only 2,700 experts in a police force of almost one million. Patrick commands a team of ten well-trained men and highly skilled people. Each of them has to trust the other team members and work together. The squad usually uses robots to disarm bombs, but sometimes they need to get close to the device, and then they must wear a special protective suit that weighs about 40 kg. According to Morris, in this job you have to be able to think quickly under pressure while staying calm and focused. At the end of the day, Sergeant Morris knows his job is done when everyone is safe, but he is always ready for the next call.
